Asad's Hot Chicken
The best chicken sandwich in Philly is right next to a gas station in the Northeast. That’s where you’ll find Asad’s Hot Chicken, which generally has a long enough line you’d think they were giving away free gas. From the toasty brioche bun to the thick cut of juicy meat covered in a peppery seasoning, it all creates a sandwich we haven’t been able to stop thinking about. The roadside halal stand also doubles as a fresh juice and smoothie place, so you can bite into jumbo tenders, crispy sliders, and some cheese fries, all while balancing out the heat levels with a banana and strawberry smoothie. Come here for a quick lunch or late-night meal that beats a bowl of greens or a trip to Wawa.
