As a younger, cuter Macaulay Culkin once showed us, ordering pizza delivery is a good way to make a night-in feel special. Since every night is a night-in at the moment, getting some phenomenal pizza helps break up the monotony, and supports local restaurants at the same time. Below, you’ll find a list of great options all over Philly.

For more ways to support the restaurant industry right now, you can find some ideas and resources here.

THE SPOTS

Kerry McIntyre

Circles + Squares

$$$$
$$$$ 2513 Tulip St

Our favorite pizza in the city is back in action, and while it’s hard to get your hands on one of their crispy-crusted, doughy, fluffy Detroit-style pies - it is possible. Just head to their Instagram and wait for an announcement that they’ve opened up ordering for the next few days. If you can get to the site and throw your name into a slot quick enough, you’ll be very pleased with the results.

Clarkville

$$$$
$$$$ 4301 Baltimore Ave

Clarksville is a neighborhood pizza spot in West Philly that has solid personal pies and a long local beer menu. Right now, they’re selling both pizza and beer for takeout and delivery, including daily specials like $15 growler fills. Check their Instagram to find out what their latest deals are, and place an order for delivery here.

Rachel Lerro

Gigi Pizza

$$$$
$$$$ 504 Bainbridge St

This Queen Village pizza spot makes some of the best wood-fired Neapolitan pies in the city. They’re super light, thin, and crispy, and you could probably eat a whole one by yourself if you’re really hungry. Right now, you can order from them here, or call the restaurant directly at 267-457-5688 for pickup or delivery over $50. They’re also offering DIY pizza kits for $50 with enough dough to make four pizzas, and they’ll even partially bake the crust for you if you don’t trust your 20-year-old gas oven to do the job correctly.

Giuseppe & Sons

$$$$ 1523 Sansom St

Giuseppe & Sons is open Wednesday through Sunday for both takeout and delivery. They have a shortened menu with a few of their neapolitan pizzas, and you can place an order here for pickup or here for delivery.

The Original Tacconelli's Pizzeria

$$$$
$$$$ 2604 E Somerset St

Normally, getting a Tacconelli’s pizza means reserving your dough days in advance. But for the time being, they’re doing curbside takeout where you can call in day-of and pick up your pizza just an hour or two later. They’re open from 4pm to whenever they sell-out on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 3pm to sell-out on Friday through Sunday - make sure you get at least one of their plain cheese pizzas that has a super crispy crust.

Osteria

$$$$
$$$$ 640 N Broad St

Osteria is open for takeout and delivery Wednesday through Sunday, with a full menu that includes their wood oven pizzas. Click here to place an order for takeout, and here for delivery.

Emily Schindler

Pizza Brain

$$$$
Pizza  in  Fishtown
$$$$ 2313 Frankford Ave

You can get a decent slice of plain cheese pizza at most places in Philly, but only Pizza Brain tops their pies with things like brisket, brown sugar, and house-made cheese whiz, and then gives them ridiculous names like Bob Sheldsmoose and Wendy Wedgeworth. Right now, you can get one of their huge pies by calling the restaurant at 215-291-2965 ahead of time for pickup or scheduling a delivery here. And if you haven’t stocked your freezer with ice cream yet, they’ll also deliver you CBD-infused gelato with flavors like virgin mojito and blueberry lemonade.

Pizza Dads

$$$$ 2843 W Girard Ave

Pizza Dads is run by the same people as Pizza Brain, so you can expect the same types of big, thin-crust pies topped with bizarre combinations of (somehow really good?) toppings. Their whole menu is available for takeout here for their Fairmount location, and for delivery here.

Pizza Plus

$$$$ 1846 S 12th St

If you’ve read our guide to the 10 Best Pizzas In Philly, then you know the number one spot belongs to Circles + Squares. Their new sister restaurant Pizza Plus, which makes the same crispy Detroit-style pies, is doing takeout in East Passyunk seven days a week from 11am until 10pm. To get one (or two or three - they reheat very well), you can place an order through their website, or call them at 215-551-7111 for delivery within South Philly.

Pizza Shackamaxon

$$$$
Pizza  in  Fishtown
$$$$ 115 E Girard Ave

Pizza Shackamaxon has started taking pickup orders for 50 whole pies per day. You can order through a Google Doc in their Instagram bio starting at 9am each day, and once all 50 orders have been placed, they’ll call you for payment.

Pizzeria Beddia

$$$$
PizzaWine Bar  in  Fishtown
$$$$ 1313 N Lee Street

We miss hanging out at Pizzeria Beddia’s Fishtown spot, but until we can spend a night drinking wine in one of their big booths, we’ll settle for calling them every day in the hopes of getting one of their to-go pizzas. They have two numbers, so you’d think it would be somewhat easy to get in touch with them before they sell out for the day - but as it turns out, every single person in Philly wants one of their thin-crust, boardwalk-style pies. Which makes sense. They’re incredible. Try to get one yourself by calling them daily from noon to 2:30 at either 267-928-2278 or 267-928-2256.

Pizzeria Stella

$$$$ 420 S 2nd St

From 12-9pm every day, Pizzeria Stella is open for takeout in Headhouse Square, and their Neapolitan-style pies are perfect for a family dinner when you’re sick of making frozen meals. They’re also doing DIY pizza kits to give you something to do, and wine and beer pickup so you can have a drink if the DIY pizza experiment goes poorly. To place an order, call them at 215-320-8000, or go to their website.

Pizzeria Vetri

$$$$
$$$$ 1939 Callowhill St

Both Pizzeria Vetri locations in the city are open and offering delivery. They serve really solid Neapolitan-style pies, as well as something called a rotolo, which is really just a roll of pizza dough filled with ricotta and mortadella. You might not think you need more pizza dough to go with your personal margherita pie, but you absolutely do.

Santucci's Original Square Pizza

$$$$
$$$$ 901 S 10th St

Santucci’s makes square pizzas, with sweet, bright red tomato sauce and just the right amount of mozzarella cheese. Our favorite way to enjoy one of their pies is to eat at their original Italian Market location, but you can also get their pies by placing an order for delivery on their website or via a third-party app.

The Sidecar Bar & Grille

$$$$
$$$$ 2201 Christian St

Sidecar used to be a regular dive bar with forgettable bar food - but then it was taken over by the people behind Mike’s BBQ and now all of a sudden it’s great. The best thing on their menu is the square, Detroit-style pizza with crispy, cheesy crust, which you can get by placing an order for pickup at their website or for delivery.

Square Pie

$$$$ 801 E Passyunk Ave

Other than Circles + Squares, this is easily the best place to get a Detroit-style pie in Philly. They’re only doing takeout, and to order you have to give them a call directly at 215-238-0615. But if you live near Queen Village or Bella Vista and feel like taking a little walk, this is where you’ll find some of the best pizza in the city.

Wm. Mulherin's Sons

$$$$
AmericanPizzaItalian  in  Fishtown
$$$$ 1355 N Front St

Wm. Mulherin’s has started offering three of their pizzas (the margherita, the spicy jawn, and the vegetable primavera) for pickup and delivery. You can place orders through their website, but try to order early - they sell out quickly.
