This summer, outdoor dining has been even more in demand than it usually is, with restaurants filling their sidewalks, patios, and even parking spaces with socially-distanced tables. Emmy Squared is doing the same, but instead of trying to fit tables out on their Queen Village sidewalk, they’re expanding to the rooftop of the apartment building above them.
Every Friday through Sunday night for the rest of the summer, you’ll be able to eat Emmy Squared’s Detroit-style square pizzas and drink a frozen cocktail on the rooftop you wish your apartment had. Unlike the cabanas at a swanky hotel pool, though, tables are only available on a first-come, first-served basis. And if they don’t happen to have anything available when you show up, you can either wait it out, or head to that are open this summer.
