Adraba
Included in
Adraba, a new Levantine spot from a former manager at Balagan, is a good time—plain and simple. You’l find it on a quiet corner behind busy rue des Abbesses in Montmartre, and it’s perfect for the start of your Friday night or a long, leisurely, fun Sunday brunch. The music’s loud (but not too loud), the service is attentive even when it’s busy, and free shots are circulated throughout the meal (they’re mixed, and mostly fruit juice, so don’t worry: Your kefta won’t land on your lap because of tipsy waitstaff). Get an extra order of the piping hot flatbread so you can sop up the full “Iftah el Table,” or “Everything on the Table,” portion of the meal: eight mezze for €36. On your way out, give a few pets to the dogs you’ll likely see lazing about as their owners go to town on some kebabs.
