Right off the Metropolitan G/L stop, Zona Rosa is a great place to meet up with a few friends over tacos, margaritas, and guacamole on its awesome roof. You might encounter a bit of a wait on nice nights (when they open the windows and it becomes an indoor/outdoor situation), but it’s never too hard to get a seat.

Brooklyn Suya is a small Nigerian spot in Crown Heights where you should get a casual weeknight dinner in the area.
Two Saints is a nice little neighborhood bar where you can grab a cocktail or listen to a DJ on weekends. It isn't a dive, but it's casual.

El Toro Blanco
El Toro Blanco is a trendy spot that’s Perfect For some Action At The Bar and a slightly less Raucous Party Atmosphere than you’d get a few avenues over in the Meat Packing District. The food just isn’t all that good.
Calaca is a little cash-only Mexican spot in Bed-Stuy where you should drink flights of tequila while eating some great tacos and tostadas.
Nene’s Deli Taqueria
Nene’s is a Mexican spot specializing in quesabirria that’s set up in a bodega right next to Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick.
