VHH is an all-day cafe from the people behind Vinegar Hill House, and it’s located in a courtyard right off the East River in Dumbo. So if it’s nice out, grab a table outside. You’ll get some great views of Manhattan and a few bridges. In the daytime, this place is counter-service, and they do a small menu of things like eggs, sandwiches, and granola. At night, however, things get a little more serious. You can stop by for dinner and get some pork shoulder or roast chicken, although it’ll still be extremely casual, and the plates they give you might be plastic. We wouldn’t bring a date here, but we could see ourselves stopping by for brunch or a casual weeknight meal with a friend.
