Vero is a dimly-lit wine bar that works for a low-key date on the Upper East Side. Along with the street seating out front and the small bar, there are candlelit tables with red leather booths at the back of the space. They do Happy Hour until 7pm, which makes this a good spot to meet someone after work and share wine and small plates, like cheese and charcuterie or any of the 10 different types of bruschetta.
