The Owl’s Tail is a casual cocktail bar on the Upper West Side that feels more or less like someone’s living room. The space is pretty small, with a bar on one side and some tables on the other, and it’s a good place for a first date or drinks with a few friends when you need something a little nicer and cooler than The Gin Mill or Dive 75. The cocktails here are great, and they also serve oysters and some small plates like chicken wings and dumplings.
