The Ledge is a rooftop bar in Bushwick, and it’s actually a little bigger than a ledge. A more appropriate name would be “The Patio” or maybe “The Elevated Outdoor Area Overlooking What Appears To Be A Lumberyard.” This place consists of a long, narrow outside space where you can sit at a table and enjoy a decent view of the land west of the Jefferson L stop, and it also has a small indoor area that’s excessively pink. It has pink walls, pink shelves, and a pink bar where you can sit and have a good cocktail. Despite all the pinkness, we prefer the outdoor area, where you grab a table and have some relatively calm daytime drinks. If it’s nice out, and you need a place to start your night in Bushwick, this place is a great option.

La Isla Cuchifritos
We love La Isla Cuchifritos for the fact that a) it’s cheap and delicious, and b) it sort of feels like you’re grubbing in tropical Puerto Rico rather than not-so-tropical Brooklyn.
