Perfect For:First/Early in the Game Dates
There are plenty of dive bars in Alphabet City, but the Garret isn’t one of them. So if you’re around Avenue A and you’re looking for a first-date spot or a place to get a good cocktail, come here. It’s nice inside, but it isn’t uptight, and it feels like the little bar/lounge area of a restaurant that you’d find on the roof of some hotel.
