The Cannibal Liquor House

The Cannibal Liquor House is the bar/restaurant from the people behind The Cannibal, and it’s one of the best places to get a nice cocktail in the Murray Hill/Kips Bay area. Granted, there aren’t that many great bars in the area - so that might not be as impressive as it sounds. Still, if you need a good tiki drink or a whiskey cocktail called a “Truffle Shuffle,” and you happen to in East Thirties, we recommend this place. You can also grab dinner here (it’s sort of a restaurant), although the menu is mostly bar foods. They have burgers, wings, calamari, and brussels sprouts. There’s a dining room in back, but stay up front if you want to grab a few quick drinks and make a quick exit.
