El Patron is a Mexican restaurant right next to the park in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. It has two big connected spaces with a ton of big tables for groups, as well as some sidewalk seating during the summer. This place is really casual and good for kids, so come before or after spending time in the park, or if you need something easy in the neighborhood. They have a huge menu of burritos, fajitas, and house-special tacos, but we particularly like the al pastor tacos and the fact that the chips and salsa are free.
