Street Taco wants to be a sort of Tacombi meets Tijuana Picnic, but it isn’t really as good as either of those places. It’s a cool space, and it might be a fun spot to have some margaritas with friends, but you aren’t going to get a meal here that’ll feel worthy of a night out. Some of the tacos are fine, and others just aren’t great. Like the tiny one stuffed with tuna tartare that seems like it would be on the menu at a tacky wedding or a classy strip club. So if you’re in the neighborhood, and you just want some chips and tequila, come here. But if you’re looking for a full meal, head elsewhere.

Sticky's Finger Joint now has a location on 33rd and 3rd Avenue, and as far as we can tell, that's pretty much the restaurant equivalent of an putting an ATM in a strip club. There's no chance it doesn't get used, and there's no chance it doesn't make money.

Tacombi @ Fonda Nolita
Tacombi has an awesome Mexican courtyard, and gets serious points for creativity. All in all, we back the place, especially now that they have a liquor license.
