Spiegel is a cafe in the East Village that serves good coffee and Mediterranean food. There are plenty of tables, along with a wraparound bar and some outdoor seating. Use Spiegel for getting work done, a coffee meeting, or a brunch spot if you wake up on a Sunday wanting shakshuka without the iPhone photoshoot environment that usually goes along with it.
