Soy is a small, casual cafe on the Lower East Side serving Japanese comfort food. The inside is cozy (and green), and the food tastes homemade. There might even be some pictures on the wall that were drawn by a child, and between that and the mismatched chairs, it sort of feels like you’re eating in someone’s house. Stop by for a quick tuna avocado bowl or some curry. Almost everything costs less than $10.
