The chef from Il Buco, one of our longstanding favorite date-night spots in Manhattan, started this delivery-only pizza project in 2021 serving pies with ingredients like green chorizo, stracciatella, and Umbrian olive oil. The crust on this pizza is covered in cornmeal, and while it’s a bit heavy-handed, the combo of flavors make these a worthwhile option the next time you’re contemplating getting pizza delivered. Go with the “Green Chorizo,” since the crust is slightly thicker than Neapolitan-style and could hold up to the chunks of sausages and other toppings.
This new pizza project from some of the people behind Il Buco is doing takeout and delivery every day. You can get topping options like kale and anchovy, green chorizo, and cacio e pepe with four different kinds of cheese delivered straight to your door from Il Buco Alimentari’s Noho kitchen between 12 and 10pm every day.
