Sharlene’s is by no means a fancy place, but it isn’t exactly a dive, either. Mostly, it just feels like a neighborhood bar from the 1950s, complete with pinball machines, vinyl barstools, and maraschino cherries. The space consists of a long room with a bar and a row of tables along the wall, and it’s ideal for when you want to have an inexpensive drink and discuss mildly interesting things such as sports, television, or your hopes and dreams with a couple of friends. If at any point you get bored of talking, there are a bunch of board games you can play, too.
