This a casual Vietnamese spot on MacDougal Street where you can sit down and eat a sandwich or some pho. They also have some sides and other noodle dishes, and it’s all pretty cheap. This place is only a few blocks from NYU, so expect a mob of students during the school year, and be aware that MacDougal Street is a zoo on weekends.

We eat our fair share of pho, and have to say that Pho Bang satisfies like no other. There aren’t many things better in this world than a huge bowl of oxtail broth with noodles and fixins – and this one is super flavorful and perfectly rich.
