Need a sandwich in Nolita? Head over to Regina’s Grocery. The original location is on the Lower East Side, but now there’s a takeout window on Mulberry Street. As is tradition in New York City, the sandwiches come packed with more meat and cheese than you should probably eat in one sitting, with options that range from hot soppressata with fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers to tuna with provolone and balsamic. There are also a few salads, in case you’d like some greens. Most things here cost around $15.

Café Habana is one of the better values in Nolita. You can grab a casual Mexican/Cuban brunch or dinner for less than $20 a person.

Review

Tacombi has an awesome Mexican courtyard, and gets serious points for creativity. All in all, we back the place, especially now that they have a liquor license.
