Rasa
Rasa is a dependable back-up option when you can't get a table at one of the trendier options in the West Village. The restaurant takes walk-ins, and has a Southeast Asian menu made up mostly of dishes that are common denominators in the region, like beef rendang, curry puffs, and a solid roti canai. Rasa is less a destination restaurant and more a utility spot, but the food is decent, the space is large with a look that’s fishmonger chic, and it’s a great refuge for when you can’t deal with the West Village dinner rush.
