Unless you’re looking for ideas on what to name your luxury dog spa, you should move past the name, Pomp & Circumstance, and focus on the fact that this small Mediterranean spot steps from the Lorimer L station is a good option for casual dates. Get a couple comfortable leather bar seats during Happy Hour (5-7pm everyday), and order a few different dips to eat with the housemade sourdough that’s cooked in a big oven in front of you. Our favorite is the mix of egg and creme fraiche topped with lots of smoked trout roe that burst like briny water balloons when you bite into them.
