Every LES resident should be rejoicing about Playita, a small mariscos and taco spot that should be your new go-to takeout place. Order some fish and meat options (the duck carnitas and diablo shrimp are standouts), and don't leave without the ceviche that has huge chunks of whitefish and a tangy broth that you can’t help but sip like a cocktail. The space can really only fit five people, but there’s a small ledge where you can scarf down your tacos and make intense eye contact with the Luis Miguel photo on the wall. The Dancer and Eastwood are on the same block, and both are great places to digest your tacos and have a drink if you want to make a night of it.
