This location of Peppa’s, like the original in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, serves a few different Caribbean dishes, but the reason you come here is the jerk chicken. A small portion, which is $6 and definitely enough food for one person, includes multiple pieces of juicy, smoky meat covered in charred skin. Just make sure to add a few $1 festivals (basically long, sweet hushpuppies) to your order. Peppa’s is primarily a takeout and delivery option, but this outpost also has a few counter seats in the window and sidewalk tables out front.
