Out East is a social-media dream. Walls, floors, lights, booths - everything’s been designed for maximum Instagramability. Come early to catch the sun streaming in from the skylight in the back, so you can get your ’gram and all your likes. As the name suggests, this place is an ode to the restaurants of the Hamptons, although it isn’t where you go for a casual lobster roll. Out East is upscale, and the menu is a little weird. It’s seafood-heavy, but they have your usual chicken and steak along with some things like tomato gratin and creamed mushrooms. We’d probably come back, but not for the food. There’s a cool bar area downstairs that we like (despite the clubby music).
