Walk into Osamil, and you’ll hear The Isley Brothers, Otis Redding, or some other kind of old-school R&B that’ll make you want to hang out in this dimly-lit space for several hours. It also doesn’t hurt that this little Korean pub serves some of the best food in the area, with some great cheesy rice cakes and various other things like spicy and soy garlic wings, crispy squid fries, and lots of chili-laden stews.

There’s a bar up front where you can drink or eat by yourself, and the dining room in back is perfect for a slightly upscale meal with friends, parents, or your friend’s parents. And if you’re still looking for a nightcap, ask to go upstairs to their swanky bar literally called Osamil Upstairs. They have a 12-seat bar, but you should hit up their library-esque main room with couches and comfy chairs that swivel.

Wings

Choose from spicy, salt and pepper, classic, and our favorite, soy garlic. You’ll get seven crispy, double-fried wings that are expertly coated in whatever sauce you choose. There are too many Korean fried chicken options in K-Town to count, but the ones at Osamil are up there with the best.
