Norman is an all-day restaurant inside the giant new design space called A/D/O that’s taken over an entire block in Greenpoint. Run by the people behind two of NYC’s fanciest Nordic restaurants (Aska and Agern), Norman has the same Scandinavian influence, but applied in a much more casual (read: not insanely expensive) way. During the day, you can eat things like “red corn porridge,” charred cabbage, or a scrambled egg breakfast sandwich on housemade bread while you meet someone for a business meal, or get some work done on your laptop - the space is ideal for it. We’ll be back to check in on dinner, and in the meantime file this one under: when in the neighborhood. You don’t need to travel for it just yet.
