Thanks to the prices, this casual(ish) bar in The NoMad hotel probably isn’t a place that you can afford to visit often. But when you do, eat dessert.
Ardesia is first and foremost a wine bar, and a good one at that. The food is decent, but it’s secondary to what they do best, which is selecting excellent “mineral-driven” wines from all over the world.
If you’re the type to get really excited about really good cocktails, Raines continues to be an excellent choice for special occasion drinking.
The Clocktower in the Edition Hotel is a Flatiron facsimile of a popular restaurant in London. And it works here just as well as it works over there.
