Little Tong Noodle Shop

Little Tong is a new East Village noodle shop, but it stands out from the dozens of other East Village noodle shops in two ways. First, the noodles here are a type of Chinese rice noodle called mixian, which you won’t find much of in New York. Second, they put some very pretty flowers and colorful things on top of said noodles. Both of those things are cool, so we were excited to try this place.

The noodles were tasty enough, but they also didn’t blow us away, and in an area with so many incredible little restaurants, this simply isn’t a place we can see ourselves clamoring to come back to. If you end up here, you’ll enjoy it, but you also won’t miss out on the next big thing if you don’t add it to your personal Hit List.
