Great Jones Distilling Co.
Where we've featured it
This week, Manhattan got its first whiskey distillery in over a century. (No, the friend who made moonshine in their one-bedroom apartment during quarantine doesn’t count.) You can check out the space for a tour, cocktail pairings, or special mixology classes - just make sure to book ahead of time through their website. Great Jones makes both bourbon and rye whiskey, both of which are for sale by the bottle at the new distillery in Noho.
Manhattan just got its first legal whiskey distillery since the Prohibition era with the opening of Great Jones. If you have any interest in bourbon, this restored building in Noho would be a great spot to do a tasting in the near future. They’ve got a bar area on the second floor where you can sip whiskey cocktails and order a burger if you get hungry.
