Gold Star is a beer bar in Prospect Heights, and like most new craft beer bars nowadays, it’s pretty laid-back. It isn’t where you come to dance or get someone’s number - it’s just a nice little room where you can sit around and discuss an obscure IPA. If that sounds like your thing, you’ll love it. They have a bunch of craft beers on tap (as well as some in cans and bottles), and they also do some snacks.
