Some of the doughnuts here, like one with pistachio cream and edible flowers, are almost too pretty to eat. Almost. This Bed-Stuy shop specializes in fan fans (long, eclair-like filled doughnuts), and the best one is the guava and cheese. The denser dough can stand up to a lot of fillings and toppings, so lean towards varieties like the chocolate glazed topped with churros and the Danny Boy with salted brown butter caramel and nuts. Fany Gerson, who started Dough and La Newyorkina, is behind this place, and you can grab some top-quality paletas while you’re here. There’s nowhere to sit inside, but there’s a long bench outside.
