Despite the fact that you can get a very serious dinner here (burger, steak, oysters, etc.), Extra Fancy feels less like a restaurant and more like a neighborhood bar. It’s a spot to meet up with friends for some casual drinks and/or maybe talk to a stranger late at night. They also serve food until 2:30am., so if you’re hungry past midnight, stop by and eat a lobster roll at the bar. This is a great place to either start or end your night, and there’s also a nice yard for summertime drinking.

Pies ‘n’ Thighs
The new Pies ‘n’ Thighs has opened its doors, and Williamsburg’s most influential hipsters are rejoicing. This new, larger location is still turning out amazing fried chicken and comfort food classics.

The Clam in the West Village is (you guessed it) a seafood restaurant that's a safe bet for most occassions.
North River Lobster Co.
The food at North River Lobster Co. is regrettably mediocre. Then again, we never expected more from a floating restaurant in the middle of Midtown fart-tastic touristville.
Pier A Harbor House
Pier A Harbor House is one of the best dining al fresco restaurants in NYC, complete with a view of the Statue Of Liberty and a massive outdoor/patio situation.
Suggested by our writers
Lobster Joint is closest thing to a clam shack that you can find in Greenpoint, and it's absolutely perfect for summer day drinking.
Radegast Hall & Biergarten
If you're looking for a big spot for day drinking Williamsburg, try Radegast. It can get a little crowded, but maybe that's what you're looking for.
