Pretty much every item here at Effin Egg, located just below Madison Square Park, is made with—you guessed it—eggs. Despite that, we’d avoid anything made with their bland scrambled eggs, as they remind us of a steam tray at a hotel breakfast buffet. Stick to the brioche sandwiches made with over-medium eggs like The OG, which comes with a stack of thick-cut, apple-smoked bacon. (It’s honestly too much bacon, so take some out and share with your friends.) You can grab one of the tables in the long, narrow room to eat in—just know that this place closes at 3pm every day.
