D'Antan
It’s rare to see a place with more than 30 or 40 wines by the glass, let alone 100. But Have & Meyer, Terre, and D’Antan, which are from the same people, all have that in common, and focus on natural wines from Italy, with almost half of their menus devoted to orange wines. D’Antan, the newest of the three, is in Crown Heights and along with some sidewalk seating out front, is a dark one-room space with walls covered in bottles from its wine list. It’s a great date spot, and you can meet for a drink and ask the friendly servers for tastes of different wines and charcuterie, or get a full dinner and share some pastas, like the tagliatelle that’s covered in crunchy hazelnuts and a ton of rich venison ragu.
