Bolivian Llama Party
Included In
This walk-up window in Sunnyside makes Bolivian food that DJs on the side. Llama Party does a commendable job with traditional Bolivian stuff—their signature salteñas in particular are perfect little pockets of beef, pork, and chicken stew, and the sopa de maní, silky with ground peanuts, is a must-order. But elsewhere on the menu, they mix things up with items like crispy artichokes on mac and cheese, and your new favorite fried chicken sandwich: the Diablada. There’s just some basic outdoor seating, including under a little structure, but they’ve got a good takeout operation going, taking care to separate ingredients that could get soggy on the way home. You can also buy frozen salteñas to take home.
