Bánh Vietnamese Shop House
Where we've featured it
After almost three months of running a Manhattan pop-up, the team behind Cơm Tấm Ninh Kiều - one of the best Vietnamese spots in the Bronx - has officially opened a restaurant on the Upper West Side. The menu at Bánh Vietnamese Shop House includes three different kinds of bánh cuốn, six different kinds of bánh mì (including one vegan option with pesto), plus a bunch of the other dishes that consistently sold out during the restaurant’s pop-up era. Everything’s available for takeout, delivery, and limited outdoor dining from 4 to 9pm, Tuesday through Thursday, and 12 to 9pm, Friday through Saturday.
The team behind Cơm Tấm Ninh Kiều, one of the best Vietnamese spots in the Bronx, just opened a new restaurant on the Upper West Side that’s currently using its space for a weekly food pop-up. In the past, Bánh Vietnamese Shop House has served everything from Bánh Cuốn Hà Nội (Vietnamese rice rolls) and Bánh chưng chiên (fried rice cakes) to Thịt Kho (pork belly and egg soup) and skewered Bún Chả (grilled pork), but you’ll have to check out the restaurant’s Instagram for the latest on this week’s pop-up menu.
