Banh Mi Saigon Bakery

Banh Mi Saigon has long been our go-to for a banh mi in the Chinatown/Little Italy area. The sandwich shop is located in the back of a jewelry store on Grand Street, so walk past the cases of necklaces to place your order, and make sure to bring cash (they don't take cards). The sandwiches are massive and fully reliable for lunch. We like the one with Vietnamese ham and pate more than the classic barbecue pork. If you're someone who likes heat, ask for it hot, and they'll hit you with jalapeños, not just an extra squirt of Sriracha.
