On a quiet street near the very top of Greenpoint, you wouldn’t know to look out for Bakeri. But this place is like something out of the English countryside: a floral print-covered cafe and exposed-kitchen bakery selling pastries and light breakfast/lunch foods. Then again, a place in the English countryside probably wouldn’t be playing Justin Timberlake or serving iced matcha lattes. Use it for a coffee and something quick to eat, or when you decide to finally write something in that journal you got five years ago.
