We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. With restaurants around the country reopening, we understand that socializing in any form might still feel strange, and poses risks too. Should you go out to eat? That’s up to you. But we’ll continue to keep you informed as best we can. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at community@theinfatuation.com.

TV Pairing: High Fidelity (Hulu)

“The new High Fidelity TV series is the ultimate breakup saga. Each episode follows Rob, played by Zoe Kravitz, through a series of run-ins with her exes who either broke her heart, confused her, or in some cases, both. It’s also about how music helps her cope. But unlike most of us who use Spotify to stream the songs that our exes once played from the speakers of a white Honda Accord, Rob owns a record store in Brooklyn. She also pulls off the combination of breaking the fourth wall, wearing a leather trench coat, and drinking alone at a bar better than anyone I know. You’ll feel like you’re cool enough to do all of these things right along with her if you sip whiskey from Analogue while you watch.” - ND

The best places for blind dates are the places that are often overlooked - quieter places that still have a good vibe. Analogue is one of those places. This is a bar on the northern edge of Greenwich Village with serious cocktails, but less of the self-seriousness you’ll find at a place like Employees Only. In the early evening, there tends to be live music, so that’s a guaranteed source of conversation right there. The inside looks like the living room of a really nice apartment, and there are some couches and banquettes where you your a date can sit side-by-side (if your Seinfeld impression goes over well).
