The phở broth at this casual spot on 5th Ave in Park Slope is slow-simmered for 12 hours, and it’s one of the first things we’d reach for (or dive into headfirst) after a long day. That’s important to keep in mind because it makes the phở here rich, mouth-coating, and nicely balanced by all the bright herbs, jalapeños, and citrus that come with it. It’s also worth noting even if you’re in the mood for a bánh mì. Order a cup of it on the side of your classic bánh mì, and dip the crispy bread coated in marrow-laced pâté into it before every bite.
