For a quick and not-too-expensive sit-down meal inside Grand Central, Prova Pizzabar is worth knowing about.

To have a mind-blowing eating experience at Sushi Yasuda in Midtown, sit at the sushi counter, order the omakase, and enjoy.
Totto Ramen East
This city needs more ramen restaurants like it needs more privileged people, but we're getting more of both anyway. At least we're getting the right kind of ramen...
Akdeniz
Akdeniz is a casual restaurant in Midtown East with good Turkish food and a few pre-theater set menu deals.
Hutong
Hutong is a gaudy Chinese spot in Midtown East where you can get some very good dim sum if you’re willing to spend a lot of money.
Agern
Agern is a Nordic restaurant inside Grand Central that’s perfect for lunch or dinner when your company is paying.
Naya
We found ourselves enjoying the food at Naya quite a bit. However, the space is about ten feet wide and looks like a high-end shower.
Docks Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill
Docks is a good spot for Happy Hour drinks and snacks near Grand Central.
Osteria Laguna
Osteria Laguna is an Italian restaurant near Grand Central with enough space for a big group (or just you and some pizza and wine).
P.J. Clarke’s
P.J. Clarke’s has been rocking a good burger for decades. Let’s give the elders some credit. The only thing we don’t like about P.J. Clarke’s is that it’s almost always insufferably busy.
Riki
Riki is a casual Japanese restaurant near Grand Central where you can order some yakitori and okonomiyaki before your train.
Katsu-Hama
If you want to get a quick sit-down meal near Grand Central, go eat some pork katsu at Katsu-Hama.
Tsushima
Tsushima is a perfectly fine sushi spot in Midtown. It won’t blow your mind, but it might come in handy if you need something last-minute.
The Smith Midtown
If Midtown East is the final frontier of food-obsessed New York City, The Smith Midtown is the Starship Enterprise.
The Grill
The Grill is the revamp of the legendary Four Seasons restaurant, run by the people behind Carbone. It’s very similar, very expensive, and worth it.
The National
The National is a seasonal restaurant and brasserie in Midtown with solid eats for all meals at prices that aren’t cheap but aren’t abusive.
Hide-Chan Ramen
Run by the same folks that brought Totto Ramen to Midtown, Hide-Chan serves great ramen in midtown. .
Little Collins
With a reasonably priced menu, welcoming staff, and sleek decor, we’re surprised to find such a perfect Australian coffee shop in Midtown East.
Grand Central Oyster Bar
Grand Central Oyster Bar is a legendary, Classic NYC Establishment located inside Grand Central Station. There ain’t another place like this in the world, and unless you commute from Westchester everyday, it can be easily forgotten. Don’t let that happen.
Gaonnuri
Gaonnuri serves KBBQ on the 39th floor of a building in K-Town. You'll pay a sky tax for food you could easily get on the street below, but the view is incredible.
Yoon Haeundae Galbi
Yoon Haeundae Galbi is a Korean BBQ spot in Midtown that's a great option for date nights and business dinners.
