We found ourselves enjoying the food at Naya quite a bit. However, the space is about ten feet wide and looks like a high-end shower.
Docks Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill
Docks is a good spot for Happy Hour drinks and snacks near Grand Central.
Osteria Laguna
Osteria Laguna is an Italian restaurant near Grand Central with enough space for a big group (or just you and some pizza and wine).
P.J. Clarke’s
P.J. Clarke’s has been rocking a good burger for decades. Let’s give the elders some credit. The only thing we don’t like about P.J. Clarke’s is that it’s almost always insufferably busy.
Riki
Riki is a casual Japanese restaurant near Grand Central where you can order some yakitori and okonomiyaki before your train.
Katsu-Hama
If you want to get a quick sit-down meal near Grand Central, go eat some pork katsu at Katsu-Hama.
Tsushima
Tsushima is a perfectly fine sushi spot in Midtown. It won’t blow your mind, but it might come in handy if you need something last-minute.
The Smith Midtown
If Midtown East is the final frontier of food-obsessed New York City, The Smith Midtown is the Starship Enterprise.
The Grill
The Grill is the revamp of the legendary Four Seasons restaurant, run by the people behind Carbone. It’s very similar, very expensive, and worth it.
The National
The National is a seasonal restaurant and brasserie in Midtown with solid eats for all meals at prices that aren’t cheap but aren’t abusive.
Hide-Chan Ramen
Run by the same folks that brought Totto Ramen to Midtown, Hide-Chan serves great ramen in midtown. .
Grand Central Oyster Bar
Grand Central Oyster Bar is a legendary, Classic NYC Establishment located inside Grand Central Station. There ain’t another place like this in the world, and unless you commute from Westchester everyday, it can be easily forgotten. Don’t let that happen.
