Now that it’s officially summer and restaurants are testing the waters of outdoor dining, there’s a huge opportunity for more outdoor entertainment. Bel Aire Diner in Astoria is taking advantage by hosting a drive-in movie series behind their restaurant, which has been around for over 50 years. Tickets are $32 for as many people as you can fit in your car, and if you place an order for some home fries or bacon waffles online, they’ll bring it out to you. On June 22 they’re showing Grease, on June 23 it’s Shrek, and the only way you’ll find out what’s next is if you check for updates on their Instagram.
