Smorgasburg in Williamsburg reopened as a takeout-only operation today. Smorg To Go, as they’re calling it, is open daily from 11:30am to 8pm. If you’ve never been to Smorgasburg in the past, think of it like an ongoing state fair or a mini food festival right by the Williamsburg Bridge.
Every week you’ll be able to choose from 10 different Smorg To Go vendors and place your order ahead of time online here. The pick-up spot for all of the vendors is located at 51 North 6th Street, one block south of their usual Smorgasburg area. Head’s up: none of the Smorg To Go vendors are permitted to sell alcohol.
While you can’t eat at Smorgasburg, you can always take your food across the street to the Marsha P. Johnson Park (which was just renamed after the famous LGBTQ activist). You can follow their announcements about the week’s vendors on their site here.
