On Monday, June 22nd, NYC restaurants were allowed to reopen for outdoor dining. But since large patios are hard to come by, the city has enabled restaurants to expand their outdoor seating arrangements to accommodate as many people as safely possible for dine-in service. Below, we put together a photo series highlighting how some restaurants in lower Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn have adapted - even if it means dragging barstools out into the street.
