Yes, this is possibly your single lifetime opportunity to eat L’Artusi’s orecchiette outdoors. This past week, the West Village set up their outdoor dining area with about six wooden tables and some tan umbrellas that may or may not distract you from the cars and sweaty-yet-somehow-still-chic people passing by on West 10th Street.
L’Artusi isn’t accepting any reservations whatsoever, which may be a relief considering many of the city’s outdoor dining reservations are as tough to get now as they historically have been for indoor dining. They’re open from noon to 10pm every day, and serving most of their typical pastas and starters, along with a massive burger that’s new to the menu.
If you’d rather experience L’Artusi at home, you can go online to order a selection of their dishes, DIY meal kits for two people, sauces and groceries, or this branded L’Artusi face mask. For more Italian takeout and delivery options around city, check out our guide here.
A bag of chips, a bowl of nuts, or candy do not count as “food” with your outdoor dining alcoholic beverage.
The famous Flushing dumpling spot recently started accepting takeout and delivery orders out of a kitchen on 502 Amsterdam Avenue.
