E3 Chophouse
There’s no shortage of whiskey in Tennessee, but you can get some of the hardest-to-find bottles around town at E3. The hits don’t stop there, though—this chophouse is just the type of place you keep in your back pocket for impressing the big boss or a date who’s, quite frankly, a bit over hot chicken. So come here when you’re craving an excellent tomahawk ribeye and don’t mind dropping over $70 on a proper slab of beef.
Start off the night with caviar service or one of the best panzanella salads in the city—a leaning tower of perfectly rendered cubes of bread punctuated by roasted pumpkin, dried cranberries, goat cheese, and a drizzle of maple vinaigrette. Then, you really can’t go wrong with any of the aforementioned steaks topped with truffle herb butter or their signature steak sauce. The bananas foster cheesecake lit aflame in a pool of vodka, Banana du Brazil, Godiva, and Licor 43 is also absolutely worth the risk of singed brows.
