Shelter is a big Wynwood restaurant that feels more like a mountain hunting lodge than anything related to Miami. However, if you’re cool with eating underneath large severed moose heads and antler chandeliers, this place can be enjoyable. The food is good (especially the empanadas). They also have tasty pizza and a bacon-wrapped octopus hotdog we really enjoyed. There are tables that work great for big groups as well as a lot of bar seating.

Dukunoo is a Jamaican restaurant in Wynwood. The food is great, the music is loud, and the jerk chicken is some of Miami’s best.

Wynwood’s Le Chick is an energetic spot with rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, and a good burger alongside solid cocktails.
