Shelter is a big Wynwood restaurant that feels more like a mountain hunting lodge than anything related to Miami. However, if you’re cool with eating underneath large severed moose heads and antler chandeliers, you can have a pretty good meal here. The food is good (especially the empanadas). They also have pretty good pizza and a bacon-wrapped octopus hotdog we really enjoyed. There are tables good for big groups here as well as lots of bar seating.
