Royal Castle is a restaurant that has been around since 1958. Back then, the Miami-born concept was a very successful chain with over 150 locations around the American south. Today though, there’s only one left and thankfully it’s still in Miami. The Royal Castle of today looks like a fast-food restaurant from the outside but feels more like a simple neighborhood diner inside. This place stays open 24/7 and has a basic breakfast menu, some sandwiches, and a T-bone steak, but what they’re famous for are the sliders. You can order them in “six-packs” with or without some pretty good crinkle-cut fries. The mini burgers have soft buns, thin patties, diced onions, a pickle, melted American cheese, and are good enough to make you understand why this place used to be such a success.

Kush serves some of Miami’s best burgers. It’s in one of the quieter corners of Wynwood, and best for small groups.

MiMo’s tiny Blue Collar is kind of like an upscale diner, serving a great cheeseburger, big sandwiches, and braised meats.

BND Burger in Wynwood serves really tasty smash burgers. It’s a good choice for lunch or as a late-night snack while bar hopping.
