Royal Castle
Included In
Royal Castle is a restaurant that has been around since 1958. Back then, the Miami-born concept was a very successful chain with over 150 locations around the American south. Today though, there’s only one left and thankfully it’s still in Miami. The Royal Castle of today (which reopened at the beginning of 2024 under new ownership) looks like a fast-food restaurant from the outside. But it feels more like a simple neighborhood diner inside. This place has a basic breakfast menu, some sandwiches, and a T-bone steak, but what they’re famous for are the sliders. You can order them in “six-packs” with or without some pretty good crinkle-cut fries. The mini burgers have soft buns, thin patties, diced onions, a pickle, melted american cheese, and are good enough to make you understand why this place used to be such a success.
